One of the lesser-used tables recommended 30 mins fire resistance instead of 60 mins fire resistance for a particular building configuration and use. Whilst this might certainly have safety implications... "dangerous" ???

Do we know where the error is? ... I'm taking a wild stab in the dark but, 2008 Rev recommenced 60 mins FR to an Assembly building: ordinary hazard (no sprinklers), less than 5 meters (Table 25), in the 2017 Rev 30 mins FR is recommended for a B2 risk profile less than 5 meters (Table 23)

It wasn't in Table 23 - it was Table 24 Fire resistance periods for elements of structure (based on the ventilation conditions given in Table 25), - the sixth column was a 30 when it should have been a 60 but you'll only see it if you downloaded the original version - the one you'll get if you download it now has been corrected, I believe.
