Whats the procedure on getting a small cylinder refilled,is it available in Northern Ireland or is it a case of "service exchange"?

A quick search reveals service exchange is the most common practice. Group companies of the two big players Tyco & Kidde seem to be the biggest users of Novec, but there are a small number of independents that say they fill, three I found being:

Thanks Anthony, found this crowd down the road from me as well.
I'll pass this on to the guy who was asking me about it.
Out of interest, does the F gas regs cover small portables or fixed systems, say up to 2 or 5 KG?

Haven't a clue mate - what are you looking filled??
-
Whilst portables are covered, most obligations are for fixed systems - useful links are:

From my past experience I would highly recommend lpgfire for gas refilling, they are a good set of guys who won't rip you off ;)
