Morning all,
Has any one every come across lightning protection bars running through a lift shaft? In the case I have seen the bars run from the shaft, through the internal escape lobby and stairwell (single means of escape) to the outside.
If there was a lightning strike then I would presume the lift electrics could be blown and this may in turn blow the main board?
What about the risk (to life) of a strike as you are standing directly under the bar in the lobby.
Cheers,
