Hmm all velly intelesting. From the company website, once gleans information that:
Mr Stonelake was in the fire and rescue service, where he gained a vast amount of experience in the fire protection area and developed excellent skills in fire risk inspection and fire safety audits (as one surely would in the fire and rescue service).
He had the NEBOSH certificate in fire safety and risk management.
All the company's extinguisher technicians were BAFE registered, having completed the IFEDA course. I dont think it right, Davey to allege that the gentleman "meddled and bodged".
The company offered PAT testing, fire safety signs, training, etc.
Main thing done wrong (as it appears to me) is that there was a bit in the company website that said "who it applys to". I always think it is a crime to end a sentence or a clause with a preposition, while the word should be "applies". Clearly, Davey, the author of the website was not in your dearly departed FRS, the grammatical standards of which are, of course, exemplary, save that many of them think that the past simple of the verb to do is "done".
