What knots are you required to learn as an airport firefighter?

Will be good to know so i can get some practice in.

Isn't it funny, how if you sit in a library and scream, everyone looks at you and tuts...but do the same thing on an aircraft and everyone joins in!

I wouldn't be overly concerned about learning specific fire service stuff just now mate.

 Focus on the stuff that is relevant to your application, such as maths and english (for written test), your fitness and your interview competencies.

 Once you are succesful you will get knots and lines until you are sick of the sight of them!

I guarantee a granny knot would hold as good as a reef knot, it's just doesn't look as tidy. Are knots a little like a St John Amb first aid dressing? If it doesn't look neat and tidy it ain't right.
