"No Fire Exit" signs

What about putting nothing on the door.

It looks like it leads to safety, you can see light through it, but it does not lead to safety, it leads you into a cage surrounded by cardboard.  

So it is important that people don't go there in a fire.

We were told that a 'No fire exit' sign could be misread in the confusion and haste to escape or that the 'No' part might be obscured at the time.

Whilst sign 2 looks interesting, when necessary I have tended to like the standard image with the large raised hand (usually indicating 'no admittance' or 'no unauthorised access') with an appropriate text something like 'No way out'.
