Hi
Can anyone help I am looking for info on becoming an airport fire fighter.  I am currently serving in the Royal Navyand based in plymouth, I will be leaving the RN shortly. I have a lot of experience in the fire fighter and prevention on board ships and would like to take this experience into civilian life.

Many Thanks

You have posted your question on the RR(FS)O part of the forum, I think you should try again in the aviation section.

Hi

Your first port of call while serving should be the NAC Fire Service at Culdrose, I am led to believe there is an understanding (or was) for RN trained Firefighters (chockheads....... I was one) to be recognised for a percentage of their training.

Try Exeter, there are are few ex RN there, and they may be able to help.

Good Luck
