Theres an interesting job description. Never seen the like of that before in a local authority position.

"We require high calibre candidates who are able to demonstrate a willingness to challenge ideas and apparently ?proven? theories or results and the ability to co-operate with or stand against others as appropriate. "

Will the authority prescribe who and when to co-operate with or stand against? Or will the successful candidate have freedom to determine the path? Looks like a mavericks charter to me. Cant see that lasting long!

Weird job spec and not a brilliant remuneration package.
