Where did the 25m TD come from in the Small non-domestic premises guide? Seems very reasonable. I have had entertainment licences refused for such venues when TD was a tad over 18m in single direction!

They are the suggested TD in all the existing guide for a normal fire risk areas.

25m for low risk not normal in the DCLG guides - they then go on to define low risk such that it would be rare to classify most workplaces that way.

25m for normal situations will make things easier in some legacy buildings we deal with, I wonder what the rationale was - more common use of AFD, little evidence that the extra 7m makes any real difference in escape, etc?
