I am looking to do an advanced industrial firefighting course to progress my understanding and knowledge of fire behaviour. I am a fire safety officer with no operational background, and to my job effectively I think I need to experience some live fire training.

Does anyone know of any training establishments that offer this kind of training these days, bearing in mind that there will only be me wanting to do the course, rather than a block booking.

Does anyone run such courses and be willing to let me piggyback onto a course they have booked already?

Your help and comments would be most appreciated

So do Lancashire Fire and Rescue at Washington Hall, may be cheaper than a private company like Serco (IFTC Teesside) but then again......

Try either contact @ Washinghton Hall,

Industrial course director ADO Mick Macdonough, or fire safety course Director S/O Tony Ashworth.
