Industrial fire training
« on: October 21, 2005, 12:25:45 PM »
Hi Boys and Girls

Your help please.

I have trawled the internet for companies or organisations who can provided bona fide pukka accredited Industrials Firefighter training courses to no avail.

Does anyone know of anyone who can offer this sort of training?

Appreciate your help -

Best Wishes.

i think the fire service college moreton in marsh do, and possibly gullane - there are also other training providers specific for industrial activity - perhaps you could look at some nvq 'stuff' in order to determine what training is required

Thanks for the replies guys.

Specifically the training we are looking for is as follows:-

1) Advanced firefighting and rescue (ie similar to retained firefighters s
2) BA wearer
3) Knots and Lines, ladder work, getting jets to work etc

In simple terms all your bread and butter fire and rescue stuff really.

Cheers

PS thanks for your comment about NVQ Stuff Dave can you expand on that - where would i get that info ?

Thanks again
