Title: fire risks in Paraquay
Post by: Guest on September 16, 2004, 08:40:09 PM
Hi there,
I manage fire safety for a financial organisation with branches and offices throughout the UK and overseas. I have recently been asked to visit our offices in Paraguay, following the high number of fatalities at a shopping complex fire in August.
I would be grateful if any one has any experience of fire safety standards in South America that they would be willing to pass on or for any information that may help me with this task.
Many Thanks
Jim Higgins

Er... Poor!

Our firm once quoted to check a Britsh School in S.Am.

The impression given by the propective client was that laws were minimal, enforcement less and they would feel safer being inspected and advised to UK practice as local codes were so poor
