Just caught up on the fire in Gloucestershire where bowling alley/kids play centre etc. was involved, jungle jim type set up play area. It could have a much sadder outcome...
Having been 'in charge' of my 2 grandsons at one of these places, it suddenly dawned on me that it would be difficult to get a hoard of kids out safely, particularly with the play centre being 3,4 or more levels up. It did not seem to have quick release portions to open up the front or sides.
Still, being a firey, maybe I should have had a plan ready? But in switch off mode to 'enjoy' my heirs playing...
Any comments, or more info on these places?

There's been some work done on this recently by Chiltern (TRADA) I think something was going to be published.

There were three articles in the IFE journal last month, one by Chiltern Fire who carried out some work for the Government, one by a fire officer who attended the Gloucestershire fire and one by a play facility operator.

Seemed to cover the main points well.
