If he said that it must be true. And if the princess sent you a pic her beauty would blind you so much you would never be able to read a signal level again-whether at the head or elsewhere. While in all honesty i think there may be a disparity between what the standard says and what people actually do, if you are doing an upgrade, you probably want to be very confident that the signal strength at each detector is ok. You do not want a load of grief from iffy signal levels causing you to be brought back to deal with nuisance fault signals.

I just wish i could get one, (cuddle) any offers?

As I said before though thats fine on a small system, but a large one! on rambling multifloors there should be an easier way than tramping to each head?
As for the beauty well Id risk it if it was worth it!

As the princess, whose beauty is well worth the risk, pointed out to you, you need to get a guy to go to each head anyway at some stage.

yes i know this now, thats why i asked the question in the first place, because I was'nt sure and if you dont ask then youll never learn and then you wont be able to wind the hierarchy up because they did'nt know
