pressure testing of FM200 cylinders

Can anyone advise me as to the recommendations regarding pressure testing of FM200 cylinders. Also, what document details the recommendations?

Thanks

Of the top of my head, bearing in mind the time of night, I would suggest that the BS for the type & construction of gas cylinder would be the way to go, hich normally has a table of test intervals for that type of cylinder and it's usage (i.e. gas contents & their application). Without looking I cannot be certain, but would bet that it is 10 years like cylinders of similar construction filled with CO2 for firefighting

BS ISO 14520-1:2000      Gaseous fire-extinguishing systems. Physical properties and system design. General requirements

I think the pressure testing comes under part 3.

You should test every 10 years, after 20 years test every five.

From the General requirements maintenance section of BS ISO 14520-1

"9.2.2 Container
Containers shall be subjected to periodical tests as required by the relevant national standard."

Which would be evry 10 years as the old 20, 10, 5 regime was removed a few years ago when BS EN's replaced the old BS for steel & aluminium gas cylinder testing
