Title: Airports Fire Stations.
Post by: Matt Akers on February 22, 2005, 04:59:17 PM
We may be getting a new station in the future at our Airport, just wondering if anyone out there has any ideas or contacts for companies concerning lay out of a new station (i.e. BA room, appliance bays, training rooms fire gear lockers ect)
Any help or ideas would be of great help.

you can download the cap 168 from the caa website

if not i think that manchester airport have a reasonably new station so maybe they can help

Thanks had a look at CAP 168 and I imagine the designers and the SAFO will be in talks with the CAA. Just wondering if anyone had any good ideas for a new station, i.e. Humberside Airport have just had a new station, and the way they have set there BA servicing room looks really good, all ideas welcome.
