Title: Civilian fire safety inspecting offiers
Post by: Guest on August 02, 2004, 10:43:58 AM
I am a civilian fire safety inspecting officer. I am interested in contacting any officer in a similar position to discuss informally -  training , development and their roles within their brigade.

word of warning

if you post your email adress like that then you will cop for more spam than you know what to do with.

I suggest you edit it so there are some spaces in it. That way the automatic web crawling programs that collect adresses for the spamers wont be able to spot it.

On an aside how many brigades use civilians as FPO/FSO's?

The traditional image of most people is of the sub or above operational fireman (deliberate use of male gener here) doing their checks although I know of both men and women and of civilians, but not the extent, although it seems to be on the increase (one of the brigades local to me is recruiting)
