question on application paper please help

I'm applying for BAA fireservice and filled in most of the application form but for 1 question i'm stuck at.Here's the question.........
"Please provide examples of how you have previously demonstrated the skills,knowledge and behaviours required for this this job"
Dose anyone know what they are looking for with this question or how to go about answering it?
I'm a panel beater to trade

Check out everything you can about the skills, knowledge and standards of behaviour required for the job. Possible sources should include the job description they sent you, BAA website and so on. Make a list of them and then write an answer that:

A: States the Skills, Knowledge and Behaviors. (pick the most important)
B: Identifies specific situations and YOUR role within that situation, what YOU did etc.
C: How your actions showed the specific things they are looking for.

It's all BS but since all the fire jobs have now gone in this "right-on", "competency based" direction that in actual fact gives preference to the best Bull****ters and people with Ph D's in creative writing that is what everyone has got to learn how to do!
