Title: Halloween, Pumpkins and Vaseline
Post by: col10 on October 26, 2018, 08:08:54 AM
On TV they showed someone preparing a pumpkin for Halloween and asked, "how do you stop it drying out?"  The answer was use Vaseline inside the pumpkin.  Bearing in mind that Vaseline is petroleum jelly and the carved out pumpkin  cut out to show a face and a candle put inside , what do people think of the safety of this?

Sound like the similar People?s Standard for the application of hairspray to Xmas trees to prevent the needles falling off.

Hoping my neighbours don't do this with the pumpkins they put on the flats' communal stair.  :o
