I don't suppose we will ever find out who approved the design and oversaw and inspected the construction, but if they did this for the structure of the building heaven knows what the fire precautions were like!

I could make a few suggestions! I've just finished looking at a refurbished block of flats that the AI has insisted is defend in place where I've found HD in each flat linked to a part 1 system in the common areas. Although th AI has insisted its is defend in place they have no fire strategy or records to support this and in my opinion the separation between flats is suspect to say the least !!
