I spoke to John to tell him about the original posting & he said that there are none in the country. Any that do come up are snapped up very quickly. I believe he said that Chubb have some old ones for sale.
If you want to speak to him anyway his number is 08700112875.

are you looking for airport appliances which only conform to the CAP 168 if not you might try some ex military auctions which may be selling off some nubians or mk X1 's failing that try contacting the MOD airbase at boscombe down, i think they may have a couple of eagle six's they're trying to offload.

The number PAS 79 is quite collectable. Comes with a CD and quite a good technical section. I understand the IFE will provide registration documents for anyone that can prove they have practiced and pass the test. Looks like a safe vehicle as the fire service have been called to it several times and have been unable get into it.

Brian, Love the idea. Must get the registration mark. In the meantime, do you know anyone who wants a 9 year old BMW cabriolet with the registration KAZ 1560.

nice reg though - if only i knew someone called KAZ who could afford such friviolity!

Colin,

I always imagined you had the number plate BS 5839.  Is it not true?

If anyone wants a R reg silver special edition MX-5 with a F(M)SH, I'll take £5k ono.

Anyone mentioning hairdressers in the following posts will be banned.

Yo Messy: That was when Malcolm Smith, one of the best fire safety ACOs you ever had, restructured fire safety and introduced DO Quality Assurance posts, and introduced some professionalism to fire safety in the nation's capital. Alas, like the quality of fire safety enforcement, the bumper sticker fell off completely and became a component of the rubbish, much like the enforcement notices now issued.

Davey, It is a 2.8 litre BMW 328 cabriolet, red in colour with a new electric roof (fitted when the garage inadvertently damaged the old one). It is 9 years old and has 100,000 miles on the clock. It was a company car that my son drove. It goes at a discounted rate to any member of the FBU on production of their Union card. ( I am serious about selling the car and the above info.)

Colin:

Fire safety quality assurance??

Sorry, I understand the individual words but cannot understand them when arranged as above. I assume this must be a Scottish term.

Are you aware that Argos sell paper shredders quite cheaply. A valuable tool perhaps for consultants like yourself for filing LFB enforcement notices.

YEs, Messey there was a time when even your lot did try at senior management level to put these words together, with, I have to say , a modicum of success. But not now. They would have to give away the shredders with packets of crisps to make them worth spending money on in the case of the trash your colleagues sometimes turn out.
