Title: Plasma tv's and Fridges

i must just ask i am a retained firefighter and work at comet we have a huge amount of plasma tvs and fridges obviously they both contain gases is there a high risk of them exploding when met by flame or high temperature

The gas used in plasma TVs is a mix of two non-flammable "inert" gases: neon and xenon. These gases are not harmful, either individually or when combined. Besides, the amount of gas used in a plasma TV has been described as "barely a thimble-full." So, if the gas were to somehow leak out (which it won't, it shouldn't harm you.

The solder joints will melt on the fridges pipes before it could get near to a dangerous pressure.
