Title: Petroleum and Explosive Legislation.

Who has the Local Authorities decided enforces the Petroleum Acts and DSEAR also the Explosives Acts and MSER? In my day it was usually the fire service but it appears to be trading standards now.

Different authorities have different arrangements so you need to check locally. I understand there are fewer Fire Authorities still responsible. If you need more detail email & I will ask my (fire) authorities Petroleum Officer later next week.
