Just a thought here.... if Mr Blair (bless him) has taken Mr Prescott's (bless him too) authority from him, which means no more Office of the Deputy Prime Minister as we know it........ what will happen to the modernisation of the UK fire and rescue service, and who will we be answerable to?

Any thoughts?

Don't kid yourselves.  There may be a different hand on the tiller and a different name on the ship  but behind them the crew are all the same.
Ruth Kelly in charge of the good ship Office of Communities and Local Government(OCLG). Same cr@p rebadged.  Have a look at the website and spot the difference.
