Title: Flammable liquid storage

Can anyone advise me what standards are applicable to the storage of flammable liquids in warehouses. Also, what standards relate to the fire protection of the same?

In Germany it is a legal requirement that these facilities are protected with fire suppression/extinguishing systems. I do not think there are any legal requirements here but perhaps someone may know better?
