Title: Watch Managers (Ex Subs) not riding pumps ???
Post by: tolly on July 21, 2006, 10:57:43 PM
Are any of you out there on a system where the Crew Managers (Ex LFFs) are riding in charge of the pumps and the Watch Managers (Ex Subs) are desk bound / responding in cars.

This would reduce the Watch Managers to two per station, covering two watches each.

If so, what happens when the Crew Manager is on leave / sick ?? Who is in charge of the pump then??

We have just completed rank-to-role and changed our rank markings accordingly, so just wondering whats around the corner ........AGAIN !!

Rank to role is possibly the most pointless waste of time & money I have ever come across, just what is the point? No one has yet given me a straight and complete answer!
