Title: wired glass
Post by: Pip on July 26, 2006, 04:27:38 PM
Is there a limitation on maximum size of wired glass in a door frame.I think it might be up to a max of 1.2m square , but may be less depending on what make of glass and the limit it has been tested too.

Depends what period of fire resistance you're after.

You can get a much larger area for 30 minutes than the 1.2m2 that you are talking of.
(I'm assuming that by 'door frame' you mean something like a sidescreen?).   But do contact Pilks, they are really helpful.
