We visited a local factory and they had a water deluge system around some pressure vessels onsite, but little to no info on them. I have looked in MOF books etc, but I could not find much, hence my question.

Have a look at the following www.redbooklive.com This is the web site of the LPCB/BRE. Go into browse red book, click on deluge and then open up to see a long list of companies that offer deluge equipment.

All the best Ashley

To take this a stage further, we had a minor concern over our safe approach route. Anyone give me a pointer towards literate online, with guidelines up-wind, down-wind, safe dilution point of gases etc, or am I asking for the impossible?
