Good afternoon all.
I have recently started a project which is now subject to a patent application. It is for a smoke detecting alarm system, the idea being that it communicates, sets off all mains lights, emergency lights, and audible alarms in every room.
I am trying to get this project up and running but i am finding it difficult to get relevant market fiqures and statistics. I was wondering if any of you knew where i could start to look. Also if any of you are interested in my patent idea with a view to equity financing the project, I would be happy to discuss it.
Many thanks

With all due respect I cannot see anything new in this- in fact I could tke you to a building where all this is happening today. Or is there some new technology involved?

That sounds like a fire alarm system with an interface to the lights.

My advice is that if you do have any new idea (not that the above seems to be one) you would be best to keep it secret until your patent is registered!

Sounds like a modem, two relays and alarm sounders to me ...... that'll be £500.00 consultancy fee please !!
