I am currently serving as an RAF Crash Rescue firefighter, I am due to leave the RAF in July 07. Upon leaving i will have ten years (approx) experience and am actively seeking employment with the Defence fire service. Does anybody know of current vacancies or how best to apply. thanks.

when you say 'defence fire service', i assume you mean working for the fire brigade. If so each Brigade has different methods of recruitment, but i can give you guidance for joining the London Fire Brigade. email me if you would like further info
