I fitted a single channel loop powered interface to a Gent Vigilon Compact back in August to operate a boiler shutdown. (This to replace an interface which got flooded) No input is used on the interface. Everything was fine until the middle of October when the panel reported it as "lost". I tried re-allocating but to no effect. The exception codes are all 3333s. I finally disconnected and reconnected it to the loop, re-allocated and all was ok again - for about twenty minutes. As soon as I left site "lost" again!! Any suggestions as to the likely cause please?? I'm losing the will to live!

By the sound of it you are in 'no mans land'. We think the clue is 'flooded' which may have caused more problems than you think. You need to look for more faults to be absolutely sure but your problem sounds like your novram is conflicting with the new config you are trying to achive. The solution is to re commission the loop.

Thanks for that - will give it a try this afternoon. Will let you know how it goes

There is also a chance that you have a faulty single channel interface. Was it a like for like swap???
I would have said re-commissioning the loop may be a big step to take before trying a new PCB in the interface.
