Can anyone know/point me what standard falls on electro-magnetic door retainer & where to get the certification?

I had contact BRE Certification UK but no such respon from thenm...anyone got any ideal?

The new Draft British Standard for the release of Door holders is BS7273-4 Actuation of release mechanisms for doors.
Consultatation closed 31st Dec 2006.

Hi, the new standard BS7273 part 4  deals with the interface to fire control systems and the connection of devices such as door retainers.

the standard covering the perfomance of the door retaining mechanism itself is BS EN 1155. My product was tested to this standard by Warrington Fire APT.

Ian Keeling is the test manager there for BS 1155 and is also the Chair of the BS EN  1155 standard comittee. His contact details are below.
