Anyone out there know which code(s) of practice are used for fire safety design etc in HM Prisons/guesthouses?

yes. as applicable to Scotland if that would help. Which area concern should the codes relate to?

There is a brand new document currently doing the rounds entitled'' Performance Specification for fire detection in cells'' from the home office custodial property. Current thinking is that it will only apply to new build but we feel it will eventually come in for retro fit. The document does not carry a spec number or issue date because it is that new!
I have a copy, but please dont ask in this public forum.
