Does that mean that crown workplaces will come under LA Fire Service enforcement finally ending the anomoly of 2 enforcement agencies inspecting the same building? (crown in multi occ build)

Crown premises inspection isnt changing (last I heard) its the inspection of brigades thats being"down sized"

Advice as from 5th March, the inspection and enforcement of fire safety legislation within England & Wales will remain with the Crown Property Inspection Group (which may be rebranded with a different title) under the overall remit of the Chief Fire & Rescue Advisors Unit (the replacement for HM Fire Inspectorate).
In Scotland there is no change as yet. HM Fire Inspectorate will still be the enforcing inspectors
