I'm applying for BAA fireservice and just about filled in the application form but for one question i'm stuck at.Can anyone help with the question?Here it is
"Please provide examples of how you have previously demonstrated the skills,knowledge and behaviours required for this job"
Does anyone know what they are looking for with this question or how to go about answering it.I'm not sure what they are looking for.
Any help would be grateful thanks

With the information they sent you in the application pack there will have been some essential and some desirable criteria in the person specification or personal qualities requirements for the job. For example the ability to work as a member of a team. Then for each of these think about an example where you have demonstrated this- for example explain your role in a previous job requiring teamwork and give a very brief summary of what you did, when you did it, what size or type of team it was and how well it worked out. Even sports teams can be useful experience in this way. Repeat the exercise for all the essential criteria or qualities, and as many of the desirables as you can
