I believe that Newcastle has now taken the 2nd and 3rd new Panther fitted with Snozzle!

Is there any other UK airports that have actually ordered this new Panther design from Rosenbauer?

not as yet, to my knowledge. however, expect to see MANY more in the future. rosenbauer have gone from being an unknown outsider in  the usa, to a very serious contender in the arff market there. the market once dominated by american giants oshkosh and e- one is now wide open.
airports there are full of praise for rosenbauers product and its  high levels of support and customer service, levels higher than that provided by there own players, who could in some ways be regarded as having become complacent.
big inroads also made in south america too, i would expect to see more than a few coming to our shores in a market currently the domain of the "cobra."

Is anyone else worried that the arrival of the snozzle in the UK may mark the beginning in a reduction in crewing?

 Even single man operations?

cap 168 chapter 8 (14.3.1) states that the driver cannot be monitor operator, unless sidelines are in use.

How long will CAP 168 be adopted in the UK tho?

The European Aviation Safety Authority are currently looking at standardising aviation throughout europe and potentially this may have the scope to change the way that uk arffs operate. They want all european airports to be singing off the same hymn sheet.

Heard a rumour that Cornwall Newquay were supplied with three Panthers in November 07, can anyone confirm? I am assuming that these are in place ready for the hand-over from RAF to civil this Spring.
