What happened to the post concerning the above?  It seems to have been withdrawn.  Perhaps the moderators could explain.  I don't think there was anything contentious in it.

Someone was asking the whereabouts of Bill Martin who used to run the Fire Service Training School at Stansted Airport and the original request seems to have vanished.

re bill martin   it would be good to know how he and the other instructors of that period fared when the school closed.  as thy all set me on a successful career
