hi,
I would like to find out if there are systems(manufactures) providing control and monitoring of fire alarms and smoke venting as one package. Also i would like to find out if there is restriction on legislation on these systems(within EU)

I personally dont know of any comined systems that do this but my exposure to new technology is very limited.
I have seen Building Management Systems that integrate outputs from all the various systems and provide combined graphical displays and alerts, and the use of systems like "PC anywhere" that can be used to give remote control of the various systems.

I think that Honeywell Control Systems, Johnson Controls (spelling?), Trend and ABB do this sort of thing.
