Title: NVQ training
Post by: all13ca on October 01, 2007, 09:31:22 PM
Hello, does anyone know of a college or brigade that runs the NVQ level 3 or 4 Fire safety course? I have looked on the net but can only find Edxecel for the course content.  Everywhere else appears to lead to dead ends!!

I'm not 100% positive, but I think Hereford & Worcester use the Fire Safety NVQ for their FSO's. I don't think there is actually a course with it, it's more about completing the modules in your day to day work with assessment from IV's and EV's. I could be very wrong though. Give them a call, they may be able to point you in the right direction at the worst. Good luck!

Did you contact edexcel? They can tell you your nearest college or assessor. It is pretty easy to set up with edexcel to run the NVQ in house yourself.
