Nottinghamshire fire service recently had a court case because they tried to enforce co-responding on to some of their wholetime crews, they refused and were stopped 10% of their pay as a result. The FBU took the brigade to court stating the co-responding was not part of a firefighter's role map and won. The brigade took it to an appeal but lost once again. The station at Retford may be a good starting point as this was the wholetime station where it was to be rolled out initially.
