Title: Death of noted former Coventry CFO
Post by: John Webb on January 10, 2008, 11:37:36 PM
There is an item mentioned in the IFE weekly newsletter which leads to a report in a Coventry paper (sorry, couldn't paste the reference) that says that Mr Albert Leese died on the 28th of December last.

He was CFO for Coventry City fire Brigade until they were merged in 1974 to become part of the West Midlands FS. He is noted for several innoventive introductions to the brigade, particularly his painting the fire appliances yellow for better visibility, especially at night.
