Title: Applying to more than one brigade
Post by: AllyMacG on January 20, 2008, 10:54:32 PM
Having spoken to a recruitment officer today at SFR he mentioned that English brigades won't accept applications from candidate that have had a recent (3 months) unsuccessful application or have an application under consideration with another brigade, if anyone knows of this rule or exactly what it is I would be grateful of any feedback.  He did also mention it is due to be scrapped.

That is interesting, i have also been told that.

It is stated on the Hampshire F&RS App forms to download.

not sure about the brigades you have mentiond, but i have applied for both west and south yorks, when we asked south yorks they said it wouldnt affect the application? i think there are that many recruitment drives at the moment, and so many people leaving the service there gonna have to scrap it ?? i think it's worth edging your bets bud!
