Has anyone any experiance of using the CM02 Radio Control unit from Safelinc.
By agreement with the Fire officer the existing hard wire system with panel is going to be extended using wireless detectors. We need to interface the wireless system with the panel.
The activation of the panel is triggering the control unit and triggering the wireless units. However, we cannot get the wireless detectors to trigger the panel and set of the hard wired system.
any suggestions.

Have tried Google but can't find it.. guess it is a "badged" up system...
If you have a control unit that is seeing the alarm condition ie. red lights operating, then presumably you've got a set of volt free contacts - "fire relay" - in there that change state ?
Presumably you have connected this to the class change/spare zone in your hard wired fire panel and used appropriate end of line and trigger resistor if necessary..?
1. have you got an output from the radio panel
2. do you have appropriate inputs in your hardwired panel and have you tested them manually using a link or resistor as appropriate??

the link both ways needs definitely a tranceiver of Safelink make... Need to find out if they have got it, the transceiver can be hard wired to your existing panel and it sends and receive signals from/to any Safelinc device or control unit...

Do lots with the West End Theatres and all sorts.... Do our own networking/commissioning and have the SGC software etc....

Little query for you Dave; what is SGC software? and what it does? is the one used for survey and testing the signal level in different location? if yes how much did you get it?...
If it is the basic EMS software the one you get in training courses hardware and software, then just forget this add!
