Just heard that there should be a very interesting topic in tonights programme on BBC1 at 7.30pm, on concerns about the lack of legal responsibility of tour operators to ensure that customers are safe from fire in the hotels that they use.
This follows a fire in a hotel in Kenya, and will show an interview with two holidaymakers who survived. Neil Gibbons on behalf of CFOA assisted Watchdog with input and describes why fire alarms are essential in hotels, and gives advice to travellers about checking escape routes etc.
