hi i have a customer with 3 menvier df4000 panels linked together with a comms panel at the centre of the site .they are having problems with board comms fault coming up on the display have had menvier to visit site but they could not find any fault . has anybody got any  ideas and has anybody else had this problem

We had an intermittent short circuit on the comms link (not menvier ) what cable is serving this circuit ?
If its in belden/comms cable you may have a problem here.

having worked for menvier then coopes fpr 8 yars i can tell you that they are notorious for this, usually its the comms box channel  on its way out, but thye have never ben reliabl and are now like rocking horse waste along with evrything lse df4000, even the stufff manufactured in doncaster after the move from banbury was notoriously unrliable, hence thyv moved on to th not so classic df6000
