Title: transfer between service

Is it an option to transfer from the AFS to the LA fire service, if so has anyone got any info on the process?????

No you will have to apply and complete the full training. Same the other way.

Last year Cambs took a transfer from marshalls aerospace in Cambridge and have taken a lot of MOD firefighters in recent years, I think you are as well to just inquire and apply to many frs as you can. I sure the transfers that came in was done on PQAs and then a weeks conversion ang get familier with cambridgeshireisms and so so. They were on development from anywere from 6 months to a year. I know of a lad that was only MOD for a year and transfered in and passed his development stage in less  than 6 months [ he was retained for 9 years but was told that this was not the reason he transfered in]
