FM Global's property loss prevention data sheets are now freely available via www.fmglobal.com (follow the link towards the bottom left of the screen).  The Data Sheets are engineering guidelines written to help reduce the chance of property loss due to in large part to fire (but also to weather conditions and failure of electrical or mechanical equipment) and incorporate loss experience, research results, input from consensus standards committees, equipment manufacturers and others.
