Here at Heathrow I would say we have a very good relationship with ATC and Ground, as long as we do what they want! I have a friend at another London airport who says its the opposite, and they moan and complain constantly........
How do you get on with ATC at your airports?

At Edinburgh, the jewel in the BAA crown :P, we have an excellent relationship with ATC. Whenever we ask to do a timed response or lvp response etc they will always accomodate us. Similarly if we want to do omni tests or get new recruits a bit of training on the emergency lines etc, they will always meet our requests.
They always and try to give our vehicles clearance when we are out and about and so on.

In christchurch New Zealand we get along great with the ATC. Not sure how you guys work but we do bird scaring and FOD pick ups and any other tasks on the airfield required by them. So we in contact with ATC pretty constant all the time.

Kurgen911 its the same across many of the UK airports as well, here at LHR we are fortunate to have a dedicated Airfield Ops group who take care of that side of things.

We have a good relationship with our Air ground staff, they can be a bit o/t/t at times of crisis but we work as a unit at the airport. But when things need doing, they ask us to do the task only when it rains.
