Title: Doing work in Lagos

I have been asked to consider doing some fire engineering work in Lagos - Nigeria. Has anyone got any experience with doing this and providing fire advice in Nigeria?

Check with Foreign Office website as I think Nigeria is a no no place for foreign workers due to the risk of kidnap etc.
