Given the controversy that exists over whether bedroom doors in res care should be s/c or not, and whether they should be closed at night, its interesting to note that, in the prosecution over the Pembrokeshire fatal fire in res care, the court was told that it was unacceptable that 3 bedroom doors were wedged open.

Very interesting Colin. And who decided that all bedroom doors should be self closing? The 'Green guide' does not insist on this.

A Coroner recently said that it was a reasonable thing for somebody to want to do -leave their door open that is.
I think the answer is free swing devices but they are a bit pricey.

I think you are right Wee B (as always). As always the Scots got there first though. See SHTM 84.
